Cancellation Policy – Clarity Counselling & Careers

At Clarity Counselling & Careers, your time and wellbeing are important.
To ensure fairness and availability for all clients, the following cancellation policy applies:

1. Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment:

✔ More than 24 hours' notice

No cancellation fee applies.

✔ Less than 24 hours' notice

A 50% cancellation fee may be charged.

✔ No-show / missed appointment

The full session fee may be charged.

2. Emergencies & Compassionate Circumstances

Life happens.
If your cancellation is due to unexpected illness, crisis, or genuine emergency, please contact us as soon as possible.

Fees may be waived at our discretion.

3. Late Arrivals

Sessions cannot be extended if you arrive late.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, the session may be considered a no-show.

4. How to Cancel or Reschedule

You can cancel or reschedule via:

  • Your confirmation email link

  • Your reminder email

  • Email: kimberly@claritycounsellingcareers.com.au

  • Text/Call: 0435 710 406

5. Prepaid Sessions & Packages

If applicable:

  • Prepaid sessions are subject to the same cancellation timeframes.

  • No-shows or late cancellations may result in the session being forfeited.

6. Therapist Cancellations

If we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment:

  • You will be notified as soon as possible

  • You will not be charged

  • You may choose to reschedule or request a refund (for prepaid sessions)

7. Student Rate Sessions

Student-rate appointments follow the same cancellation rules.

8. Repeat Late Cancellations

Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may require prepayment for future sessions or may result in discontinued service.
